Historic Sherbrooke is alive with history dating back to the 1860s and beyond. Located on the Eastern Shore of Nova Scotia, we are in a central location that allows visitors to explore, via day trips, the Bay of Fundy (4hr), Halifax (3hr 05), Antigonish (45min), and warm sandy beaches on the Northumberland Shore (1hr 06).  Beautiful and rustic, our rugged Atlantic coastline provides many opportunities for hiking, biking, kayaking or fishing. Undisturbed local beaches and wildlife watching around every turn makes this the ultimate nature lovers retreat!

We are a ten minute walk from the St.Mary's river (Nova Scotia's longest) and the historic Sherbrooke Village Museum. Also nearby are the St.Mary's River Association Salmon Museum, Goldenville Gold Mining Museum, Port Bickerton Lighthouse Museum, and St. Mary's River Smokehouse (right across the street!)

We have several getaway packages available to help you explore our area and local history:
- "Hands on history" (with Sherbrooke Village)
- "Golf prospecting" (August–October)
- "See it all historical getaway"
- "Locally smoked salmon and living history"
- "Couples lobster, lobster, and more lobster package"
- New: "Boatbuilding packages" (with Sherbrooke Village)

Please see our website for more details and rates.

The Sherbrooke Village Inn offers 12 motel units (Double, King) and 3 housekeeping chalets (Single, Double). A coffee maker, satellite TV, private bath, phone, and free Wi-Fi Internet connection are included in all of the accommodations.

Our rooms are clean, comfortable, and affordable, with the added bonus of a peaceful 5.5-acre woodland setting with a lake, to help you get a good night’s rest after a long day of traveling.

The new management would like to welcome you to enjoy a home-cooked meal prepared in our licensed, air conditioned dining room. Our dining room is open to the public May to October and offers a full service menu- breakfast, luncheon, and fine dining for evening meals. We serve a wide variety of dishes featuring such local favourites as our very own chunky fish chowder, fisherman's platter, steaks your style, stone-baked pizza and home cooking.

Our sunny Foc'sle Bar is an ideal location for both breakfast and dinner, with its inviting fireplace and cozy atmosphere.

Our Inn boasts such guests as Terry Fox, Rick Hanson, Rita MacNeil, Michael J. Fox, and Sonny van Deusen. We were also sought out by Dreams Come True (a world-wide wish foundation for sick children).

Our staff is knowledgeable and willing to help with any problems or to answer any questions you may have.

We accept all major credit cards and seniors receive a 10% discount on rooms upon request during the regular season. We are pet friendly (on leash, $10 fee). Bus tours and large groups welcome!
