The Trestle Trail is a former section of rail line which meanders along the Mersey River and then across the Trestle Bridge in the picturesque town of Liverpool. This is a beautiful community walking trail with a wide, well-packed surface. Walkers, cyclists and wheelchair users can read about the rail and river history of Liverpool and the surrounding area on the interpretive panel. The wooded section of the trail will continue to be open to all users; however, please note that the bridge crossing the Mersey River is closed until further notice.
