The Dartmouth Heritage Museum focuses on protecting, preserving and promoting the history of Dartmouth and surrounding area. This Museum operates out of Evergreen House – a beautiful restored Victorian house built in 1867.
We feature temporary art and heritage exhibitions on the top and bottom floors, while the main floor houses our permanent exhibit. With over 14,000 photographs, a rich artifact collection, historic and genealogy files, the Dartmouth Heritage Museum has much to offer research enthusiasts of all ages. The Museum’s archival reference and research services are available by appointment.
