Catch some waves at Nova Scotia's premiere surfing destination, Lawrencetown Beach Provincial Park, before having fun around the campfire and sleeping under the stars in a luxurious canvas bell tent.
Get suited up in a wetsuit for a private surf lesson with East Coast Surf School, owned and operated by professional surfer, Nico Manos! Then, head to Shubie Park Campground, where your dreamy, glamped campsite awaits - expertly set-up by East Coast Glamping. Shubie Park Campground is located next to Shubie Park, a 75-acre urban park with beautiful, wooded trails for walking and cycling, as well as a freshwater beach, which is supervised in the summer. Its the perfect place to enjoy nature, while being close to the heart of Halifax!
- One-hour, private surfing lesson for 2 to 4 people with East Coast Surf School. All surfing instructors are certified lifeguards - female and French-speaking instructors are available upon request
- 4/3 wetsuits and surfboard rental
- 2 to 3 nights luxury camping in an East Coast Glamping (ECG) canvas bell tent, which includes beds, ambient LED lighting, bedside table, rug and camp chairs
- 2 to 3 nights campsite booking at Shubie Park Campground with picnic table, fire pit and shared shelter
- All camping equipment, including luxury bedding, towels, and cooking equipment (cooler, camp stove, dishes and utensils)
- Locally-Sourced Breakfast: 'Glamping Essentials' Kit and 'Welcome Pack', including homemade Glamp On Granola, locally-ground coffee and a changing selection of locally-made products

Shubie Park Campground is located in a quiet Dartmouth neighborhood, about a 20 minute drive from Halifax Stanfield International Airport. It is also about 20 minutes to Lawrencetown Beach. After completing your one-on-one surf lesson, you're welcome to stay out in the water - practicing your new surf moves, until the beach closes at 6:00 p.m. You can also hike and cycle the Atlantic View Trail, part of the Trans Canada Trail, which runs alongside Lawrencetown Beach. Don't want to bring along your bikes? We're happy to arrange bike and hitch rental, with delivery to your campsite by Pedal And Sea Adventures.
Earned your appetite? Grab lunch at Heron's Nest Tea Room Restaurant or visit a 'hidden gem' along Nova Scotia's Eastern Shore, La Cuisine de Brigette for an authentic Acadian mid-day meal. Conditions: Priced for 2 to 4 people, based on double occupancy. Campsite fees included. Campers are responsible for all applicable rules and regulations of the campground. East Coast Glamping is not responsible for misconduct that may result in campers being asked to vacate campground and campers will be responsible for any fines and fees relating to such misconduct. Each bell tent is uniquely furnished and our slumber packs are a combination of deluxe camp beds and bed-height air mattresses (not shown in photograph). A refundable security deposit of $400, based on one tent, is required 48 hours prior to arrival. Minimum age for learn to surf lesson is 5 years old. Young students' lessons will be arranged based on appropriate conditions. A non-refundable booking deposit of $50.00 is due at time of booking to secure reservation. Full payment is due 30 days prior to arrival. Cancellations between 21 days and 72 hours prior to arrival will be refunded 50% of package price. Cancellations less than 72 hours prior to arrival will be charged 100% of the booking cost. No refund will be issued. Package Includes: ECG Deluxe Slumber Packs: luxury camp bedding for 2 to 4 people, including brushed flannel bed linens and bath towels; ECG Wash-up Kit: Dish Soap, T-Towels, Scrub Brush, Wash Tub; ECG Pantry Pack: propane stove, propane canister, kettle, pots and pans, tongs, flipper, BBQ mitts, water canister, French-press Bodum, and locally-ground coffee; Picnic Pack for 2 to 4 people: mugs, glasses, plates, bowls, cutlery, knives, bottle/can opener, chopping board, picnic table linen and seat covers with clips, one mini cooler and ECG T-Towel; and Mini first aid kit.
