Nova Scotia's Ultimate Lobster Feast
The Lightkeepers Kitchen & Guest House
1 Cape d'Or Road, Cape d’Or, B0M 1H0, Bay of Fundy & Annapolis Valley
Panoramic views of the Bay of Fundy and the dramatic cliffs of Cape d’Or are your backdrop as you hear stories about ‘life on the Bay’ from a local fisherman. Around an authentic lobster boil, you’ll toast a glass of Tidal Bay wine with new friends, before taking a seat to enjoy the meal.
Overlooking the Bay of Fundy and Cape d’Or Lighthouse you’ll toast Nova Scotia sparkling wine, Nova 7, while savouring hors d'œuvres with a modern take on Nova Scotia lobster. Keep your phone close by to grab a selfie from the many remarkable vantage points of this natural cliff-side masterpiece. It’s no surprise the Bay of Fundy was named one of the Top 7 Natural Wonders in North America!
Walking to the ocean's edge, you’ll fill buckets with fresh sea water—because the best lobster is always cooked and cooled in the waters from which they came! If you like, give your chef a hand preparing the authentic lobster boil, while getting the inside scoop on Nova Scotia's most-loved seafood.
A seat with a view awaits inside the Lightkeepers Kitchen. Your chef will share local tips on eating lobster, as you dig in to a three-course ultimate lobster feast, exquisitely paired with Nova Scotia’s fresh and crisp signature wine, Tidal Bay.
As night descends, it's magical to see the moon and stars shining so brightly! Your host will guide you back up the path with his Lightkeeper’s lantern, while stopping to admire the constellations. If you’d prefer to fall asleep to the sound of waves lapping the shore, stay at the on-site guesthouse.
