Ye Olde Towne Pub, patterned after an English Country Corner Pub, is the smallest pub in Nova Scotia's History.

The building, erected in 1884, is triple brick with bars on the side and back windows because it was a bank in the very busy port era.

Situated at the main wharf, there were five sets of rails for trains to deliver goods directly to the ocean-going freighters. Later, the building became a liquor store and later still, a bakery.

Opened as a Pub in 1986, it now serves as a gathering place for the local people and travellers alike.

Close to the Farmers Market, all the local historic sites and craft shops of Annapolis Royal, we are at the hub of the area's activity. Join us in our friendly, casual atmosphere for an enjoyable social time.
