Perched on a cliff overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, The Chowder House is a true culinary hidden gem on the Cabot Trail in the village of Neil’s Harbour. For over 50 years, it has been a spot where visitors and locals alike can dine on the freshest of seafood. From seasonal favourites including freshly caught lobster, snow crab, and mussels that are fished locally, come experience everything from a traditional lobster supper to our steaming hot bowls of seafood chowder.

Open June to mid-October

June: open Friday to Tuesday, 12pm – 6pm; closed Wednesdays and Thursdays
July and August: open Thursday to Tuesday, 12pm – 6pm; closed Wednesdays
September – mid-October: open Thursday to Tuesday, 12pm – 6pm; closed on Wednesdays
