Cape Breton’s Celtic Music Interpretive Centre, located on the Ceilidh Trail (Route 19) in the village of Judique, is a unique establishment designed to preserve, promote, and share Cape Breton’s music and culture.
With an interactive museum exhibits, gift shop, music demonstrations and workshops and more, everyone can experience the culture and music of Cape Breton in the Centre’s lively and vibrant atmosphere. Enjoy live music demonstrations, fiddle and piano workshops and live music during our lunch ceilidhs in our onsite restaurant, June to October. We also invite you to join us for our seasonal Wednesday evening ceilidhs as well as our year-round Sunday afternoon ceilidhs.
The Ceilidh Pub restaurant offers a lunch menu filled with Nova Scotia home-cooked favourites and local drinks with live traditional music featuring some of Cape Breton’s best musicians. Menu features include our delicious seafood chowder, traditional lobster sandwich and a variety of traditional pub fare. Find a seat inside or enjoy your meal on our patio during the summer months.
Each October, during the Celtic Colours International Festival held throughout Cape Breton Island, we offer special events as well as a week-long fiddle camp.
The Celtic Music Interpretive Centre is wheelchair accessible inside and on the grounds.
Bus tours welcome.
