Lemon-Spiced Hot Toddy

Recipe provided by: Taste of Nova Scotia


1.5 oz (45ml) J.D. Shore Black Rum (or any other local dark rum)
1 tsp (5ml) Nova Scotia honey
1 cinnamon stick
2 cloves
1 lemon wedge


  1. Combine honey and rum in a mug or heatproof glass.
  2. Add boiling water and stir until honey has dissolved.
  3. Add the cinnamon stick, cloves and lemon wedge.
  4. Add a squeeze of lemon juice to ensure that flavours are balanced.
  5. Throw a log on the fire and enjoy!
