Buttermilk Fried Chicken with Nova Scotia Honey

Chicken Marinade

2L buttermilk
1/4 cup sirachia
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper


Frying Flour

2 cups all purpose flour
1 tbsp cumin
2 tbsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp cayenne
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper


Nova Scotia Chilli Honey

1 L Nova Scotia Honey
2 tbsp chilli flakes


  1. Marinate chicken cut into strips for 24 hours.
  2. Flour and fry in 375 degree oil until crispy and tender. Approximately 6-10 min
  3. Plate and drizzle with N.S. Chilli honey
