Hemlock Ravine Park is 200-acre habitat with opportunities for walking, nature observation, and relaxation; short off-leash area for dogs. Popular for its heart-shaped pond, known as Julie’s Pond, was built by Prince Edward, Duke of Kent, for his mistress.
The 4-km stacked loop trails offer many routes for jogging and observation of nature in all seasons. Maps and signage within the park can assist in navigating the trails. Alternate park access from Downing Street. No wintertime maintenance.
Please do not feed the ducks and waterfowl.
Please note: The round, white building opposite the park along the Bedford Highway is a historic site but is not open to the public.
