Waterfront Development Marine Services offers high quality, safe berths in historic downtown Halifax and Bedford and in Lunenburg, a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site. Your gateway to many other stunning sailing destinations in Nova Scotia, Atlantic Canada and beyond. Free daytime berthing is available at the Halifax, Bedford and Lunenburg waterfronts, with overnight berthing at a reasonable price. Docking for vessels up to 90 m (300 ft) in length is available. Power, water, waste, security and Wi-Fi are also available on request. 

Whether you visit by power or sail, for recreation or work, we have a berth for you. Minutes from fine dining, pubs and cafes, events and activities, entertainment, shopping, museums, galleries and more.

As Atlantic Canada’s First Blue Flag Award Winner, the Halifax waterfront is recognized for meeting high environmental standards. Blue Flag is a highly respected and recognized international eco-label that works towards sustainable development of beaches and marinas.

We support local and international regattas, host visiting yachts and Tall Ships, and berth tour boat operators at our wharves. All major credit cards are accepted and we are a member of the US Superyacht Association.
