Port Hood Beach Provincial Park is a day-use picnic park with a 1-km sand and cobble supervised (July and August) beach.  The water is very shallow in places due to sandbars, allowing the water to heat up early in the season and stay warm throughout the summer months.  A boardwalk trail leads you around the sand dunes and beside a salt marsh.

Park amenities include: picnic tables, boardwalk trail, change house, flush toilets, interpretive signage and parking.

The beach is located across the street from the Port Hood trailhead for the Celtic Shores Coastal Trail.
