Anchors Gate Bed and Breakfast is located in the community of Bayside (Route 333, the road to Peggy’s Cove) in the South Shore region overlooking beautiful Shad Bay.  While staying with us enjoy our ocean view patios, floral garden, sunroom, as well as our nautical-theme decor.

We are ideally located for day trips, only 20 minutes from Halifax and Peggy’s Cove, and 45-60 minutes to Chester and Mahone Bay area.  In less than a 30-minute drive, you can explore craft shops, art galleries, kayak, canoe, whale watch, bird watch, walk on a sandy beach or play a game of golf.  We recommend a 2 to 5 day stay to take full advantage of the local attractions.

We have 1 housekeeping unit (fully equipped kitchen and laundry facilities) and 3 rooms (Single, Double and Queen), private 3-piece baths (shower), cable television, ceiling fans, Internet access, balconies, and 3 rooms with private entrances.  Full breakfast is served daily. Check-in is 4pm and after.  No smoking in rooms or house.
