Description

We will journey back hundreds of years when we finish our short boat ride and make our way onto the shores of McNab's Island.

Home to a number of historical forts, this island, situated at the mouth of the Halifax Harbour has a vast history that includes ghosts, treasure and even sea serpents. Keep your camera handy as the island is home to a large number of fox, deer and various species of birds.

The group will be entertained by their knowledgeable guides and learn about not only the historical significance of the intriguing island, but also the flora and fauna that it supports.

We will then relax by the ocean and enjoy a healthy picnic lunch prepared by your guides from local ingredients, including various fruits, vegetables, breads, cheese, dips, pepperoni and smoked salmon (vegetarian & vegan friendly).
