Welcome to Musique Royale!
29th Summer Festival Season 2014
"A Treasury of Music from our Historic Past"
Musique Royale is a celebration of Nova Scotia's musical heritage. A cross-province festival established in 1985, Musique Royale brings performances of early and traditional music to settings of historic and cultural significance within communities throughout the province.
St. John's Anglican Church, at the heart of old town Lunenburg - a UNESCO World Heritage site - is the primary venue for Musique Royale events.
Musicians from the local, national and international concert stage perform in over 20 communities each July and August.
Musique Royale has added a classical music series held all year round at historic St. John’s Church in Lunenburg.
