A unique MountainBike event for all age groups exploring the back country and heritage trails of Cape Breton Island. The AHC is four to six hours of outdoor adventure on trails with incredible landscapes. An event to test each riders’ endurance and skills.

The ride is action packed with lots of opportunities for personal highs. The courses will be well-signed and GPS data will be provided to participants before the event. Patrol crews will be on the course and at strategic locations to direct participants and to provide emergency assistance. Pit Stops at regular intervals along the route will serve high energy healthy food and refreshments. The ride is followed by a party at the Belle-Côte Community Hall.

Trade stories while enjoying the sumptuous BBQ. Open to cyclists of all ages.  Riders below 16 years of age are welcome to participate but must ride accompanied by a parent/adult at all times. 

This year's event will celebrate the 10th Anniversary of AHC with three courses for the novices to the keen riders. If you haven’t yet had the “AHC Experience” there’s never been a better time to try it out. Register early, participation is limited to 100.
