Getting Here & Around Help

The Getting Here & Around section of novascotia.com allows you to easily find the locations of items of interest in Nova Scotia. Simply select a category in the box on the right of the map to see their locations.

When multiple items are located within close proximity to each other the map automatically ‘clusters’ them together. Zoom in on the map by using the zoom controls or selecting a cluster, to reveal the individual location of each item. When you zoom in the categories become colour coded on the map. Please note that the clustering feature does not distinguish between selected categories (accommodations, attractions, etc.), nor does it colour code them.

Clicking on the ‘Show travel regions’ option divides the province into its travel region by colour.

Clicking the ‘Clear all’ button resets the map feature to its default setting.

The map feature is powered by Google Maps. For instructions on how to use it, click here.

Note about Internet Explorer Browsers
When using an Internet Explorer browser, the user is required to select the categories of interest in addition to choosing a Region. Then press the Search button to see your items of interest on the map.
