Beedy & O'Brien marriage

Joseph E Beedy was b. abt. 1819 in ME, then went to Nova Scotia where he married Margaret O'Brien,(b 1822/23) abt. 1844. They had several children there before moving to ME then on to WI and KS. Margaret's parents also lived there... Thomas and Jane O'Brien/O'Brian/Obrine. I'm unable to find a marriage record for Joseph and Margaret.
