Taste of Nova Scotia Prestige Award
2009 Exporter of the Year

Cradled in the picturesque hills of the Mabou Highlands, our unsurpassed view is the perfect setting for the gourmet cuisine. Savour the freshest of Nova Scotia bounty and zesty international cuisine in our Pub and Dining Room, featured in Where to Eat in Canada. Celtic music and a wee dram of Canada's only single malt whisky, Glen Breton Rare, lay the groundwork for your unique Cape Breton experience. Glenora Inn features nine rooms and six Highland Chalets. During your visit, you can also enjoy a guided tour of the distillery.

Glen Breton Rare Canadian Single Malt Whisky is produced by the traditional copper pot stills method using only three ingredients: barley, yeast and water. It can not be called "scotch" unless it is produced in Scotland, hence, Canadian Single Malt Whisky.

Colour: Golden-amber
Nose: Butterscotch, heather, honey & ground ginger
Taste: Cream, with a good flow of toasty wood, almond and caramel
Finish: Rounded, lingering, faintly sweet, a mere whisper of peat
