Experience the spirit & enchantment of the season in a community-wide celebration!  Visit Mahone Bay for the Annual Father Christmas Festival.  

Greet Carolers strolling through town. View many amazing handcrafted life-size, Father Christmas figures.

Enjoy family-friendly events like the Gingerbread and Tiny Trees to decorate, and free crafts at the community museum.

Tastes of the Season are found at the Yuletide Gourmet Market.

Visit four homes "dressed in holiday style" for the "Homes for the Holiday" tour.  Tickets $20

Enjoy an exhibit of seasonal quilts and home decor by the Mahone Bay Quilters Guild.

For all festival information and to purchase Home Tour tickets, stop in at the Father Christmas Welcome Centre during the festival. 

The shopping is local and unique, with a chance to "Win Your Wish List".

'One Size Fits All' Art Sale of original small works by 70 Nova Scotian artists.

More features of the festival:  Community group breakfasts and lunches with craft and bake sales; Festive Flavours and events at restaurants throughout Town.

The Mahone Bay Father Christmas Festival officially opens at 6:30 pm on Friday, November 24th at the Town Bandstand with a Tree Lighting Ceremony featuring Carollers and Bell Ringers  followed by a Lantern Parade to the free Carolling and Cocoa event at the Mahone Bay Centre.  The festival continues through to December 4th.
