DescriptionDevour! The Food Film Festival is an international festival celebrating cinema, food and wine culture. The five-day festival takes place in the culinary epicenter of Nova Scotia – the Town of Wolfville, dubbed "Canada's secret foodie destination" by the Hollywood Reporter. The festival, formerly the Slow Motion Food Film Fest, is a celebration of food on film, the culture of food and the dramatic impact it has on our lives. No one celebrates food and wine better than Wolfville. Driven by a focus on local agriculture, home of many celebrated chefs and situated in the heart of wine country, Wolfville appeals to the foodie in everyone. Event highlights include an Opening Gala reception where Nova Scotia’s finest chefs come together to create a feast for the senses, the Select Nova Scotia Food Truck Rally, delicious food-focused excursions throughout the area, industry workshops with renowned food celebrities, the rebirth of cocktail cool at a Cocktail Pop-Up Party featuring award-winning mixologists, international chefs paired with Wolfville chefs to create decadent meals inspired by feature films in the program, and much more!
