Rising Tide Expeditions is based in the beautiful fishing village of Gabarus on Cape Breton and offer sea kayaking instruction, adventures and education in several unique locations on Cape Breton Island. Our certified kayak instructors/guides have extensive experience in sea kayaking and outdoor travel. We offer half-day and day-long guided paddling trips in beautiful Gabarus Bay with basic instruction with local foods on offer; paddling to the harbourfront of Fortress Louisbourg National Historic Site; and multi-day overnight paddling adventures throughout Cape Breton. We also offer hiking and snowshoeing trips to the Gabarus Wilderness Area. Let us share with you the land, the sea and the stories of Cape Breton Island!
