Inspired by 19th Century urban French coffee houses, The Peg and Wire features an Avant-garde approach to café design and decor. Imagine yourself sipping authentic espresso, cappuccino or latte on the Champs Ellysees.
To compliment your coffee or tea in the morning, afternoon and evening, our Bakery is located on-site. Passionate cooks are producing breads, cakes, petifores, waffles, specialty desserts of all styles and International flavours. The menu is light, exciting and best of all - different! Home made soups, Panini sandwiches and
unique salads using only fresh ingredients with a focus on Nova Scotia products is our gastronomic vision.
We have partnered with Nova Coffee as our preferred supplier as they have been in business for over 30 years importing, roasting and marketing International coffee and tea. The Peg and Wire supports Free Trade products and offers many beverage options to our valued customers. http://www.novacoffee.com/
As you relax in the conversation area, take time to absorb the works of art adorning the walls. That's right, The Peg and Wire is also an Art Gallery featuring Annapolis Valley artists. The work of Mr. Godfrey Kenny is currently on display.
The Peg and Wire Coffee House is open seven days a week, from 7AM until 7PM. Located directly across from The Spitfire Arms at 40 Water Street, it's just as easy to find as our Landmark Public House.
