The Woodshire Inn is an elegantly restored 1850s home with modern décor located in downtown Windsor, Nova Scotia. Our vocation is to feed, nurture and pamper. Set amidst a lush courtyard garden, The Woodshire is also home to Cocoa Pesto Bistro.

The Bistro reflects the seasonal abundance of this agricultural area, with three licensed dining rooms offering local and international wines, lunch and dinner service as well as off-site catering for special events. An applewood fired smoker provides diners with the opportunity to enjoy such favourites as dry-rub pork ribs, smoky pulled pork on a bun and signature sauces such as house-made, smoked, sweet pepper compote. Reservations are recommended.

The Town of Windsor is popular destination year round. Home to such events as The Apple Blossom Festival, Sam Slick Days, The Hants County Exhibition, and The Parade of Pumpkin Paddlers and Regatta. Throughout the summer, the Windsor Waterfront Concert Series showcases talented musicians from all over the world. One can visit the historical Acadian dykes, view the powerful tidal bore and tour several local museums. While staying in Windsor, shop at nearby wineries, peruse the seasonal Farmers’ Market, or take in a show at one of the downtown theatres. Enjoy a day of alpine skiing or and afternoon of golf. Then retire to The Woodshire for a delectable meal with fine libations and relaxing accommodations. It’s all here in Windsor!
