East Coast Quicksilver Surf School is located 30-40 minutes from Halifax, Nova Scotia along the picturesque Eastern Shore. Quiksilver/Roxy surf lessons are held between June and October at Lawrencetown or Martinique beaches, two of Nova Scotia's finest surf beaches offering consistent waves, lifeguards and breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean.


Your surf lesson will include a 3/4 full wetsuit and surfboard, a fully trained and certified surf instructor, a thorough explanation of the proper techniques to paddle and stand up, knowledge of the equipment you will be using and answers to any other questions you have related to surfing in Nova Scotia.

All of our instructors are certified in bronze cross, bronze medallion, CPR-C and have adequate surfing experience and local knowledge. 

Female instructors available upon request. Group lesson rates available. Full day rentals of surf boards and wetsuits also available.

Date details/Hours of operation

Dates are weather and wave dependant. Lessons will run as long as the ocean is warm enough.
