Ski Wentworth, the Maritime’s largest area, located in the Northumberland Shore region is 815 vertical feet high with 25 alpine trails, 10km of cross country trails, 1/2 Pipe, terrain park, aerials and moguls sites and a variety of trails that will challenge any skier from beginner to expert. The longest run is 3.7 km (2.3 mi). Lifts include a Quad Chair Lift, Magic Carpet, and T-Bar. Night skiing starts at 4:00 pm. Our facilities include our Snow School; ski shop and repair; ski and snowboard rentals and lessons; and cafeteria and bar. Ski Wentworth was the 2011 Canada Winter Games venue for alpine and freestyle skiing. Visa, MasterCard and Direct Debit are accepted.

The big camping experience last winter was spending a night in a yurt at kejimkujik national park. The only problem was finding an open weekend to book one of the two Yurts at the park. With time running out, we booked a single overnight in late March at the Eel Weir Yurt.
