Nova Scotia has a wealth of provincial parks. Some are small picnic areas, and others are large parks with a variety of facilities. Card Lake Provincial Park is a small picnic park on the edge of Card Lake in Forties in the South Shore region. The park’s picnic area is situated under a canopy of mature softwood trees.  A small beach provides an opportunity for a quick dip, or you can launch a canoe or small boat to explore the lake.
