Cobequid Escarpment Trail is situated in Economy (trailhead is 7 km /4.5 mi along the River Philip Road) in the Fundy Shore and Annapolis Valley region.  This wilderness-standard 2.5-km /1.5-mi loop trail crosses Economy River by bridge above the falls and follows the east side of the river downstream, then crosses the river again on stepping stones and returns to main stairs via Devil’s Bend Trail. While hiking, enjoy exploring the area’s wildlife including bird watching or search for rare plants. Maps are available at the Cobequid Interpretation Centre.
