Nova Scotia has a wealth of provincial parks. Some are small picnic areas, and others are large parks with a variety of facilities. Cameron's Brook Provincial Park is a small brookside picnic park in South Brookfield, in the South Shore region. Cameron’s Brook offers a shaded lunch stop under a canopy of pine and hardwood trees. Across the road is Cameron Lake with access to Ponhook Lake, a favourite spot for fishing and canoeing. Other activities include exploring the area’s wildlife and bird watching.
