Nova Scotia has a wealth of provincial parks. Some are small picnic areas, and others are large parks with a variety of facilities.  Lake George Provincial Park has a freshwater sandy beach, change houses, a small picnic area and parking. A boat launch is adjacent to the park providing canoe and kayaking opportunities.
