Nova Scotia has a wealth of provincial parks. Some are small picnic areas; others are large parks with a variety of facilities. Bayswater Beach Provincial Park is located in Lunenburg County along the South Shore. The beach park features a large white-sand beach and a picnic area with a view of the open ocean. Outdoor barbecue grills, change rooms and toilets are also available. You can also visit the cairn in memory of passengers and crew of Swissair Flight 111.
