The Oaklawn Farm Zoo, located in the heart of the beautiful Annapolis Valley in Aylesford (Highway 101, Exit 16), offers fun adventure for all ages. Oaklawn Farm Zoo has the most exciting display of animals in Nova Scotia and the largest display of cats and primates in the Atlantic Provinces.
Stroll around our 50-acre zoo and interact with a wide variety of mammals, birds and reptiles. Children’s pony rides are also available. Other features include a picnic area, gift shop, canteen and parking. Farmer’s Family Diner is nearby. We are only 15 minutes from the world’s highest tides on the Bay of Fundy; and about 20 minutes from great swimming on Lake George and Aylesford Lake!
The Annapolis Valley also has many farm markets, orchards or U-picks to get the freshest, most delicious apples around! Oaklawn Farm Zoo welcomes bus tours. No pets, please. Direct debit or cash are accepted.
