The Discovery Centre in Halifax is a hands-on science centre dedicated to making science fun and accessible for all age groups. Interactive exhibits, live science shows and high-definition movies illuminate the wonder of science in everyday things, and allow experimentation and individual discovery. The Centre is a self-guided tour, but our exhibit interpreters are available to help answer questions and make your visit enjoyable. We welcome group tours and discounts are available to groups who booked in advance with 10 or more people. Visit the Discovery Shop – our unique and fun science-oriented gift shop!

Admission: Admission charged.

Open year-round: Mon–Sat 10am–5pm, Sun 1–5pm.
