Visit this beautifully kept historic wooden church (1880) located in rural Acadian fishing village of Saulnierville in the Yarmouth and Acadian Shores region.  Église Sacré-Coeur is considered to be the oldest church in the Municipality of Clare and the heart of the parish which consists of six unique villages. Church features include unique stained glass windows, a magnificent gold-accented altar and handcrafted woodwork. Église Sacré-Coeur is famous for its annual Quilt Expo and splendid panoramic view of St. Mary’s Bay. Bilingual guides are available to answer questions in the months of July and August. Brochures are also available. Bus tours are welcome.
