Come and explore the early days of hockey at “the birthplace of hockey” – Windsor! The Windsor Hockey Heritage Centre situated in the Fundy Shore and Annapolis Valley region displays photos of players and teams from formative years of Canada’s great winter game, ice hockey. Artifacts include the equipment with which the game began—wooden pucks, hand-made one-piece hockey sticks carved by Mi’kmaq natives, stock skates and world-famous Starr skates, as well as early forms of protective equipment. After a tour of the Hockey Heritage Centre, browse through our gift shop. Visa is accepted. Parking is available.
