Follow Havenside Road south from Louisbourg's Main Street to Lighthouse Point. Trail is well constructed and dry in all but the wettest weather. The route provides safety from active erosion but great views. After one km, trail diverges. To the right follow a shore loop. At rocky beach return to the cut-off or continue top of beach to next section. Beach unsafe in stormy weather. Next section gentle. Continue to Brook Landing Cove. Cross the beach and follow rugged footpath to Lorraine Head. Return by the same route.
