Nova Scotia has a wealth of provincial parks. Some are small picnic areas, and others are large parks with a variety of facilities.  Lake O’Law Provincial Park is an inland park on the shore of Lake O’Law on the Cabot Trail (24 km / 15 mi north of Highway 105) on Cape Breton Island. The park features picnic areas in fields and mixed-wood stands and a boat launch – a great location for boating and swimming.
