Once the home of a prominent merchant, The Jost Heritage House (c 1787) located in Sydney on Cape Breton Island shows the evolution of a wooden dwelling over two centuries.
The museum features a marine display, an early apothecary and exhibits of local Cape Breton interest. A gift shop is on site with small antiques and collectible and other souvenir items. Visa is accepted.
