Located in Bridgewater on the South Shore, DesBrisay Museum offers exhibits on the natural history, early settlement, and cultural and industrial growth of Lunenburg County from the early 17th century. Our museum includes a permanent Heritage Gallery with nine exhibits; a Folk Art Gallery; Research Centre, and a Gift Shop. Researchers are welcome; an appointment is recommended. Bus tours are welcome.

Our facility is "senior-friendly", with easy-to-read information in the displays and more accessible washrooms.

DesBrisay Museum is situated in a 25-acre park with a picnic area, walking trails and a large duck pond – a great place to explore nature!
