The streets of 18th-century Louisbourg buzzed with the hustle and bustle of a thriving port community, as merchants offloaded goods from their vessels and fisherman hauled in the day’s catch.

From July 25-28, CultureFête will spill into the streets of Louisbourg, a vibrant multicultural fair recreating this harbour side market atmosphere as part of our 300th anniversary celebrations. Join historical re-enactors, local artisans, performing arts groups and cultural associations in a celebration of the sights, sounds, smells and tastes of our diverse heritage.
