Seafest Festival

Yarmouth is a historic seaport town, rich in heritage with a working waterfront.

Seafest both represents and reflects the community from the days of sail to current times. Seafest celebrates and entertains who we are and where we
from with the older generation and educates the younger generation, both citizens and visitors alike.

Seafest takes place over 10 days, involving nearly 500 volunteers and 3000 active participants.

Event's are built to create active participation from all age groups, but it also relates to several different enthusiast groups such as Classic and Antique car fans with the annual Car Show & Cruise By The Sea, Chef's and food admirer's with culinary events and Artists with our music activities with the Concert of the Bells and Open Mic, and art exhibits such as Driftwood Art.

A Grand Street Parade, Children's Parade, Parade of Lights, Mackerel Toss & Rum Running competitions, Pirate Party Pub Crawl and fireworks are annual
highlights of this not to be missed festival.
