The Pictou County Military Museum preserves, protects, and documents Canadian military artifacts. The museum houses a collection of over 12,000 objects, from regimental buttons, hat badges and uniforms to ship hat tallies and weapons, including a C1 Howitzer.
The Museum also has a research and viewing room which displays over 1,000 military profiles, pictures and documents that are in our books of honour and remembrance.
On the last Saturday of August, the museum observes the Canadian Veterans and Military Awareness Day by remembering and recognizing the service of our veterans.
