Nicolas Denys Days is an action-packed, week-long festival held throughout the village of St. Peter's in Cape Breton. There is something for everyone, with activities including a poker walk, the MacAskill House auction, a children's fun day, a teddy bear picnic, a deep fried turkey dinner and a village scavenger hunt.
The festival features live music every day of the week as well as a delicious chowder dinner that can not be missed!
The 30+ events planned for the week of July 28 to August 3 are hosted by various organizations to ensure that the whole community benefits from and participates actively in the festival. As a visitor to the area, this approach give you an opportunity to “get to know” our whole community and join in the fun all week long!
