Nova Scotia has a wealth of provincial parks. Some are small picnic areas, and others are large parks with a variety of facilities. MacElmons Pond Provincial Park is a picnic park located in the Fundy Shore and Annapolis Valley region. The park which borders a wildlife sanctuary has a 1-km walking trail beside a pond where migrating waterfowl stop over, as well as an interpretive display.
