Highland Homecoming is the first annual one day festival at the Hector Heritage Quay in Pictou--paying tribute in music, story, song and dance to those early settlers who shaped our heritage & culture.
The event marks the day the first Scottish settlers landed in 1773.
Celtic performers, a living village, genealogy information, guided tours and ongoing demonstrations will take place all day, culminating with a fireworks display to end the day.
Tours of the Ship Hector will also be available.
