Forge300, hosted by the Cape Breton Blacksmiths Association, is the first-ever international blacksmithing event held in Cape Breton. The Fortress of Louisbourg is a fitting and historic venue for this two-day international event that honours a trade practised 300 years ago in this bustling global seaport.

Demonstrations and workshops offer visitors a chance to get in on the hammering action. For more information, visit the Forge300 Web site, forge300.ca.
