Nova Scotia has a wealth of provincial parks. Some are small picnic areas, and others are large parks with a variety of facilities. Rising majestically from the shores of the Bay of Fundy, Five Islands Provincial Park is one of Nova Scotia's premiere outdoor destinations.

Situated in the Fundy Shore and Annapolis Valley region, Five Islands Provincial Park features 90 metre (300 ft.) sea cliffs overlooking the world's highest tides, a spectacular setting for camping or any of the many opportunities that abound for hiking, beachcombing, rock collecting, clam digging, ocean kayaking, bird watching and exploring the area’s wildlife.

The park offers 90 open and wooded campsites (unserviced), two picnic areas (one close to the highway, the other by the Minas Basin shore), an unsupervised beach, playground and comfort station facility.  Enjoy hiking, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing on the west side of Economy Mountain with 6.5 km (4 mi) of tracked trails, which are marked and mapped. Interpretive panels are also on display. Although there are no facilities or services offered in the winter months, the park is open for winter recreational activities. The park road is normally plowed to the parking lot near the start of the Economy Mountain Trail.

Park amenities include flush toilets, showers, disposal service, fire grills, wood, table shelters, change houses, and ice. Wireless Internet access is available at the administration building only and the surrounding area (please see park receptionist for details). Campground Host is on site. Leashed pets are permitted. MasterCard, Visa and Direct Debit are accepted.
