Celebrate the Canada Day long weekend with this festival of Active Living!
Starting on Saturday, June 29th, first with the EPIC Canadian 5k & 10k road races around Lake Banook, followed by the region's largest-ever Kids of Steel triathlon. Children of all ages will have an opportunity to compete at various beginner distances on a portion of the same course (closed to traffic) as the Iron-distance triathlon the following day.
Sunday, June 30th brings the main race day - competitors from across North America and beyond will tackle the EPIC Dartmouth course, starting with a 3.8k swim, followed a 180k bike, and finishing with as much as a 42.2k run.
Also on Sunday, June 30th, EPIC Revolutions: a fund-raiser in support of the Dartmouth General Hospital Foundation. Teams and groups will be spinning on stationary bikes along the start/finish line straight, raising funds for enhanced care.
Then, to finish the night, the Unbelievably EPIC, Canada Day Eve, Fireworks Spectacular.
