Go sea kayaking in the Cape Breton Highlands just off of the world famous Cabot Trail.  Located on Shore Road in South Harbour, we offer guided sea kayaking tours (1.5 hour intro, 1/2 day, and full day options), as well as hourly rentals.  Custom packages, including biking, guided hiking and whale watching are available.

Our popular half-day tours leave most days at 10 am and 2 pm. Our tours will take you through the aquaculture and saltmarsh and down to the barrier beach where, if conditions are right, we launch the kayaks into the sea and paddle to a nearby fishing harbour. You will get a chance to see many sea and shore birds in the salt marshes, as well as oyster aquaculture in the coves.

This is a great experience and location for families due to the sheltered saltwater bays and barrier beach.
